NOTICE: Starting January 1, 2023 the Board of Directors approved a no call/ no show fee to be added when members do not cancel their registrations for class and do not attend. If we do not hear from you 24 hours prior to class your account will be invoiced $25.

This session will explore how flooding and flood insurance plays a role in the value of a property while also covering the important features of the NFIP policy. Description: This course will explore the demographics of today’s sellers so that the agent can better understand their clients who may be looking to sell. This course will allow the agent to become familiar with the market and seller attitudes toward the market as a whole. We will also examine the types and contents of a listing agreement and the process in place when listing a property. Upon completion of this course, the agent will understand the value and benefit to the seller that pricing a property can bring.

Code of Ethics Training:
As a member of EBR, you are also a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and are required to complete a course in Ethics to remain a member in good standing.
Did you know that all EBR Members must take a course in Ethics? Did you also know that everyone takes this course during the same three-year time period? The current time frame for taking a course in Ethics is January 2025 - December 31, 2027. Failure to complete an Ethics course during this time period will result in suspension of membership services and benefits as the local, state, and national level.
There are several options to fulfill the Code of Ethics requirement:
EBR: Take a three-hour course at EBR (counts for 3hr PSC credit, check calendar for availability)
NAR: Take a three-hour online course through NAR (this does not qualify for CE credit)
OAR: Take a three-hour course through OAR (this does qualify for CE credit)
CE Shop: Take a three-hour online course through the CE Shop (this does qualify for CE credit)
If you are an appraiser and do not need OREC CE credit, you should opt for taking the 3 hour course at the NAR website. As a member of The National Association of REALTORS®, you are required to take a realtor approved ethics course. The USPAS does not count toward this requirement.
PLEASE NOTE (2020 NAR Bylaw changes) - NAR ONLY approves courses that are completed by local REALTOR® associations, State Association of REALTORS®, National Association of REALTORS® or association approved entities (CE Shop only).
Fair Housing Training:

REALTORS® are required to complete Fair Housing / Anti-Bias Training upon becoming a member, and every 3 years thereafter, coinciding with the Code of Ethics training timeline. This requirement is in addition to the Code of Ethics training. Qualified training must be of not less than 2 hours of instructional time. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®. This requirement will begin January 2025 with a deadline of December 31, 2027.
